Gino Polli (2 August 1893 – 9 May 1926) was a Italian Army officer and an Italian hero during World War I, in the Artillery Regiment. During World War I he participated in numerous battles, including the Battle of Vittorio Veneto, in which tens of thousands of soldiers were killed, and the offensive attack of the ''"Battle of the Three Mountains"'', the biggest battle of field artillery of World War I and one of the largest and bloodiest in human history. == Biography == Gino Polli was born in Milan, the second to last of the five son of Lady Giulia Brambilla and Lord Pietro Polli, an entrepreneur in the food industry "Fratelli Polli".
